1.0 GOOD GOVERNANCE PROJECT
Project Title: INTERGRATING SOCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY MONITORING FOR SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES IN THE EDUCATION SECTOR, BUKOBA DISTRICT

INTRODUCTION
In July 2018, Kagera Development and Credit Revolving Fund (KADETFU), signed a continuation contract with The Foundation for Civil Society (FCS) for implementing a community-based intervention on Social Accountability Monitoring in Bukoba District Council whose second quarter activities were implemented in September until December 2018. The intervention covers 18 villages in 6 wards of Bukoba District Council.

PLANNED ACTIVITIES
 Conduct a participatory social accountability monitoring in remaining 9 villages involving project team and village SAM committee members for two days each.
 Engage leaders and citizens to dialogue on emerging Sam issues through interactive radio talk shows.
 Print and distribute publication with key project massages
 Conduct feedback meetings to 60 education stakeholders from ward and district council levels on SAM findings for advocacy leading to corrective action plan.
 Monitoring and Evaluation
 To attend cluster reflection meetings
 To attend one National advocacy meeting
 To attend One FCS meetings
